Description: This semi-evergreen dwarf desert shrubland is dominated by <i>Tiquilia hispidissima</i> and is found on gypsum-influenced soils of the eastern Trans Pecos region of Texas. <i>Yucca torreyi</i> forms a scattered to locally fairly dense supercanopy. <i>Sporobolus nealleyi</i> is found in the herb layer.
