Description: These forests occur on the upper slopes of loess bluffs of the Mississippi River and are probably more widespread in the warmer areas of the southeastern U.S. The forests are dominated by the non-native tree <i>Broussonetia papyrifera</i> in all strata. Native canopy or subcanopy trees occur at low cover values.
