Description: This association comprises mucky openings that form a mosaic with ~<i>Cyrilla racemiflora - Zenobia pulverulenta</i> Wet Shrubland (CEGL003943)$$ in the wettest low pocosins of peat domes (ombrotrophic blanket bogs) of the Outer Coastal Plain of North Carolina (Green Swamp, Dare County, North Carolina). Other characteristic species include <i>Utricularia subulata, Lysimachia asperulifolia, Peltandra virginica</i>, and <i>Nymphaea odorata</i>.
