Description: This association accommodates vegetation dominated by annual <i>Sporobolus</i> species for portions of the Cumberlands and Southern Ridge and Valley of Georgia and possibly adjacent Tennessee. Stands are dominated by some combination of <i>Sporobolus neglectus, Sporobolus vaginiflorus var. vaginiflorus</i>, and/or <i>Sporobolus vaginiflorus var. ozarkanus</i>. These are typically small-patch occurrences within limestone glade complexes and are located on thinner soils when compared to perennial grass-dominated glade vegetation.
