Typical species composition includes <i>Muhlenbergia reverchonii, Croton monanthogynus, Dodecatheon meadia, Stenaria nigricans var. nigricans, Hypoxis hirsuta, Lesquerella ovalifolia ssp. alba</i>, and <i>Opuntia macrorhiza</i>.
