Description: This community occurs in spring runs and channelized shallow seeps that maintain a more-or-less constant flow during the growing season. It is most typical of rocky forested areas but may be found in disturbed habitats or open fields. Typical species include <i>Nasturtium officinale, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Cardamine bulbosa, Saxifraga micranthidifolia, Glyceria melicaria</i>, and <i>Bidens</i> spp.
