Mangrove canopy is usually 7-12 m high, closed, and a variable mixture of <i>Rhizophora mangle, Avicennia germinans, Laguncularia racemosa</i>, and <i>Conocarpus erectus</i>. <i>Ficus aurea</i> may be present.
