Description: This community occupies resaca bottoms and other intermittently or temporarily flooded areas in Texas and northern Mexico. It is dominated by <i>Vachellia farnesiana, Parkinsonia aculeata, Mimosa pigra</i>, and <i>Sesbania drummondii</i>. Height and closure of canopy are variable. The shrub <i>Mimosa pigra</i> often forms a zonal band on the edge of this community.
