Description: Mixed forests of large river floodplains in the Mississippi River Alluvial Plain, West Gulf Coastal Plain, and Upper West Gulf Coastal Plain. Stands are dominated by some combination of <i>Pinus taeda, Quercus phellos</i>, and <i>Quercus nigra</i>. Louisiana occurrences have <i>Quercus laurifolia</i>.
