Graminoids present may include <i>Juncus bufonius, Panicum capillare</i>, and <i>Poa secunda</i>. This alliance occurs in the Rocky Mountains, Intermountain West basins, and eastern Cascades on deep soils on well- and poorly drained areas, such as mudflats or meadows with a lot of burrowing small mammal activity.
