The dominant growth form is floating aquatic vegetation. The most common species include the exotics <i>Alternanthera philoxeroides, Eichhornia crassipes, Ludwigia grandiflora ssp. hexapetala, Ludwigia peploides, Pistia stratiotes</i>, and <i>Salvinia molesta</i>.
