Name: Atriplex semibaccata - Batis maritima Hawaiian Ruderal Coastal Salt Marsh Group Reference: NatureServe Biotics 2019 Description: These are disturbed or damaged intertidal salt marshes and surrounding saline shallow ponds found throughout the coastal areas of the main Hawaiian Islands. Non-native species are the dominant canopy cover with low scrub species such as <i>Batis maritima</i>. They are generally species-poor, although other non-natives are present as well as remnant native species.
