Description: Riparian forests of the floodplains of the Parapety and Paraguay rivers in Bolivia, Paraguay and northern Argentina. These are dense forests, from semi-deciduous to seasonal evergreen, usually dominated by the tree <i>Albizia inundata</i>. They grow in loamy or clayish loamy soils, which are flooded for several months a year by mesotrophic waters from river overflows, which mostly flow slowly across the floodplain. Diagnostic species include <i>Albizia inundata, Aporosella chacoensis, Banara arguta, Bergeronia sericea, Crataeva tapia, Genipa americana, Geoffroea striata, Inga uruguensis, Laetia americana, Machaonia brasiliensis, Ocotea suaveolens, Piptadenia robusta, Pouteria gardneriana, Ruprechtia brachysepala, Sapindus saponaria</i>, and <i>Senna grandis</i>.
