From Campsite 97 on Eagle Creek Trail, hike up Mill creek to intersection of Asgini Branch. Head right up cove/ravine to ENE. Hike uphill untill hit boulderfield (it will be obvious).
A large boulderfield forest. Occurs in a wide, flat bottomed cove. No soil sampled because there isn't any! Big holes among the boulders. -- Interesting that this ravine/cove is a boulderfield, while the ravine to the south (the next one over) is not. As boulders give out, successional Poplar stands prevail below. 5-10 acre occurrence.
