Quite a few of these sparsely vegetated openings over bedrock in this area. Some openings have lots of HYPFOR or more EPIPER. Most have at least a moderate amount of JUNDRU. Lots of moss covering these rocks.
Soil is light brown when dry and not very deep. Hit bedrock in less than 2 in. Quite a bit of small rock that is gray and tan. Probably mudstone but could be limey.
