Location Narrative	Early for a few and late for a few species in phenology. Stand located in Merced NWR, N of Sandy Mush Rd. Stand in an ephemeral slough that is currently dry. Slough is broader than other ditches in area. Plant community vernal pool-like in nature. Unique alliances exist on slightly steeper banks of slough. Active grazing by cattle. Juncus and other herbs have been grazed.
