Location Narrative	Big bald on alluvial fan near gravel mine, tough to distinguish from adjacent Isomeris. Large Ambrosia salsola stand 1/2 mile E of gravel mine in Lokern Reserve on lower (alluvial fan) slope of Elk Hills. Stand has coarse sandy soil with good cryptogammic crust and higher native herbs than adjacent beraceous stands.
