Broad high elevation mountaintop with several spruce types including 1) woodland with blueberries and minnie bush 2) spruce/ highbush cranberry forest 3) spruce/mountain laurel forest and woodlands 4) spruce/leucobryum moss forest;Spruce forest with some deciduous trees in subcanopy over a park like understory dominatated by ferns. There are scattered, large branchy spruce with live branches in top half and a large diversity of size class spruce in the lower strata. Cored trees 99, 66 and 27 years.
