Linear wetland complex running parallel with the Ohio River. The wetland is hemmed in by Rt. 2 to the west and the B&O railroad to the east. Beyond the railgrade is the Ohio River located ~300m west of the plot. The wetland is likely an old oxbow that has been impounded by the railgrade.;Dense shrubland dominated by Cephelanthus occidentalis and Cornus amomum. There are a few herbs scattered throughout the patch, mostly consisting of Impatiens campensis and Boehmeria cylindrica. There are several well worn deer "tunnels" within the stand.
