Observation Narrative ? Environmental Comments: NW-SE oriented ridge at 1800'. Shallow litter layer. Moderate coarse woody debris, no cut stumps. Well drained deep soil. A and B collected. Subsoil collected at 140 cm.; AND: Appears to have formerly been co-dominated by Pinus rigida. Species are typical of pine-oak heath vegetation. Many canopy gaps and some snags, shallow duff layer.
