Stand of dense Nolina in Coastal Sage Scrub-type vegetation. The Nolina here is huge. The basal rosettes are about 6 feet tall and the infl tower to 12 or 15 feet. Large clonal patches of robust Nolina occur here. These stands seem to repeat in this area and seem distinct from the more xeric stands that occur with chamise farther to the east.
