The stand is very small (about 20x20 m) on a SW-facing slope. The Ceanothus cuneatus is continuous and the understory herb layer is open (continuous in the grassy areas outside of the stand). A few small Quercus douglasii are in the stand and seem to be from the adjacent Quercus douglasii stands. Because the stand is so small, cover estimations were weighted more towards the center of the stand though all species inside of the plot were listed.; Some charred wood is in the stand.
