Plot is located 150 m S of Hwy 146 & entrance gate to S. Wilderness Fire Access Rd.; Plot is on E side of Access Rd. with road running through plot. Also within plot is the trail marker for the Bench Trail. E of the plot, about 20 m of plot edge, is Sandy Creek. S. Wilderness Fire Access Rd. runs through the west end of the plot. The Bench Trail, trail marker/trailhead, is on the edge of the plot. There is severe pig damage within the plot along with some rusty metal rebar. The Quercus lobata have very old fire scars. There was past grazing before federal land. Possibly poor plot selection. Total vegetation covers are estimated incorrectly!!! There is an old rusty spoon & rusty rebar within the plot. The spoon is made out of nickel. The plot is surrounded by Quercus agrifolia. This is possibly a Marrubium vulgare plot because of lots of seedling Marrubium.
