The lower third of plot lacks lichens - just bare rock. Upper 2/3 encrusted ca 30% with herbaceous and low shrubs in cracks. Upper 10% mostly vegetated, with 1 x 10 m "u" shaped pool near center of plot, other smaller pools present. Edge of small boggy pool on inland edge. Plot does not reach into the shrub zone - it's all bedrock.
