Location Narrative	Dirt road to north. Farmland to the west. Stand occurs as an Atriplex shrub-dominated area with alkaline soil surrounded by more barren playa on all sides. Stand is somewhat convex with highest point at SE end, sloping in all directions downward to playa. This is probably a former sheep grazing land. Many dead shrubs scattered with abundant rust colored lichens. Sheep bones and carcasses in stand.
