Take Rt. 9 to Sea Meadow Drive in Parkertown. Park by Forsythe Refuge Boundary signs and enter woods on trail. Go ~0.5 miles, turn left into marsh and follow edge of marsh south.

Community Type: sea level fen
Community Description: Sea level fen located in upper tidal reach of Jesse's Creek between creek and cedar swamp. Vegetation appears to be recently inundated. Fen appears to span across creek lobe of herbaceous wetland surrounded by cedar swamp, grading oceanward into Phragmites and Scirpus marsh. Some standing dead cedars are present.
Fauna: robins and praying mantis are present.
