Description: Seasonally flooded ~Typha latifolia$ marshes occurring in depressional wetlands, including peat soils of seasonally flooded depressions in the Coastal Plain of Florida. ~Pontederia cordata$ may codominate. In these areas, surface water is present for extended periods during the growing season, but is absent by the end of the growing season in most years.
