Description: This is a pioneer plant association occurring on all but the most actively eroding or depositing areas of slowly moving sand dunes. Leymus flavescens (= Elymus flavescens) and Psoralidium lanceolatum (= Psoralea lanceolata) are the principle pioneer species on these dunes. The dunes where this is found are in Fremont County, Idaho.
