Description: This community occurs on shaded sinkhole walls and slopes, on exposed weathered limestone. Adiantum tenerum dominates the herb layer, with scattered individuals of Parietaria praetermissa, Arenaria lanuginosa, and other ferns. Mosses, especially Anomodon rostratus, are abundant. This community is shaded by topographic position and by overhanging trees rooted in the adjacent mesic hammock communities.
