Description: This broadly defined type represents vegetation of deeper Coastal Plain depressional wetlands, typically dominated by aquatic Eleocharis spp., such as Eleocharis elongata, Eleocharis equisetoides and Eleocharis cellulosa, in the Atlantic Coastal Plain and the East Gulf Coastal Plain. Rhynchospora tracyi may also be present. These depressions can be of various geomorphic origins, including limesinks and interdune swales. Additional geographic types may be developed as more specific information becomes available.
