Name: Salix wolfii / Carex nebrascensis Wet Shrubland Reference: NatureServe Biotics 2019 Description: This plant association is described in Idaho from the Centennial Mountains and in Wyoming from the Greys River drainage and the eastern Wyoming Range. The stands are at mid to upper elevations in seeps at the base of slopes and along streams. Soils are reported as organic at the surface. <i>Salix wolfii</i> forms discontinuous shrub cover in stands. <i>Betula glandulosa</i> may also be present. <i>Carex nebrascensis</i> or <i>Carex simulata</i> dominates the understory.
