Description: Wet prairies and depressional wetlands dominated by the needle-leaved <i>Hypericum fasciculatum</i>. <i>Rhynchospora chapmanii</i> and <i>Rhynchospora harperi</i> are frequent associates. Other species present in southern Florida examples (Okeechobee County) include <i>Proserpinaca pectinata, Gratiola</i> sp., <i>Pluchea</i> sp., <i>Rhynchospora inundata, Rhynchospora</i> spp., <i>Lachnanthes caroliana</i>, and <i>Oxypolis filiformis</i>.
