Description: This seasonally flooded, Coastal Plain, depressional wetland occurs in southern New Jersey and Delaware. The substrate is sandy loam over sandy clay loam. The vegetation is diverse, with <i>Cladium mariscoides</i> arguably the most characteristic species. Herbaceous associates may include <i>Dichanthelium spretum, Coelorachis rugosa, Boltonia asteroides, Eryngium aquaticum, Rhexia virginica, Fimbristylis autumnalis, Scleria reticularis, Sclerolepis uniflora</i>, and others. Additional species at the site in Delaware include <i>Panicum hemitomon, Rhynchospora chalarocephala, Scleria reticularis, Proserpinaca pectinata, Fimbristylis autumnalis, Dichanthelium hirstii, Rhexia aristosa, Sabatia difformis</i>, and <i>Xyris smalliana</i>.
