Description: This vegetation consists of emergent/submergent monospecific beds of <i>Myriophyllum heterophyllum</i>, which occur in natural or impounded lakes and ponds in the southeastern United States. This vegetation is possible anywhere in the range of the species, which is widespread across the United States and adjacent Canada. It has been documented from the Upper East Gulf Coastal Plain of Georgia.
